We are hiring veterinary assistants and receptionists that can also help with hospital needs.  Employees assist doctors with appointments, prepping patients for surgery and minor procedures, and pro-actively set up any equipment and or tools to be used for a patient care.  Assistants also collect and prepare laboratory samples. Employees often help restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner during examinations and procedures in order to obtain accurate vital signs. The job includes maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital including kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms and surgery suite. Employees must be able to communicate with clients per hospital policy in a compassionate and professional way about the status of their pet.
